Road Trip
Just got back from a delightful journey to sharm el sheikh in sinai peninsula. Unforgettable road trip along beautiful desert from Cairo in Continent Africa crossing a tunnel under the outstanding suez canal to Sinai peninsula in Continent Asia. Desert, local people and bedouins may think there's nothing special or wonderful about sands and rocks, hot as hell under the sun and freezing at night. But for us who live in other hemisphere with tropical climate, the sand covered valley and rock mountains are exotic to think and to experience.
Our destination was Las Vegas alike city in the middle of a desert. A paradise called Sharm el Sheikh, the most developed tourist resort communities in Egypt. Entering this place you won't remember you are in Egypt. It's an exotic yet modern town. The simplicity of the sun, sea and sand. The luxury of five-star hotels, water sports, shopping and entertainment. You can also find small intimate hotels even cheap three-star hotels. Casinos are everywhere. Clubbing, night life, romatic dinner, diving centers, you can find all kind of pleasures in this place.
Hard Rock Cafe is located in the center of Na'ma Bay complex. This Na'ama Bay is one of the center of the tourist activities. Located just north of Sharm, this area is developing into a resort town of its own. There's also a small harbor known as Sharm el-Moiya located next to the civil harbor, has accommodations for boats, and includes a Yacht Club with rooms. Sharm el Sheikh is simply paradise.
This place is just not Egypt because Egypt means Annoying people, jerks, deceivers, dirty streets, "disorganized everything". In sharm el sheikh you meet only foreigners and few Egyptians. Most people speak spanish and italian in the streets which i don't understand. Only few understand English and that's weird; white folks don't understand English.
But it's not Sharm el Sheikh that excited us most, it was the desert, the roadtrip. Stopping in the middle of the desert to pray and have meals, taking photos of the sands and the rock mountains, laying on the smooth white sands. It was just Great,,, i can't describe it lol! Just have a look at the pics, would you heheheh.
